The Mr Zito Story
Frank and Buddy is a painting by Bob Dylan and Mr Zito is the focus.
The painting depicts the scene of a New York City barber shop and a sign reading “Frank's Barber Shop.”
Above it is a bakery where its owner, Charlie Zito, was known to deliver bread to celebrities like Sinatra, Dylan and Patti Smith and he was soon on first name basis. Charlie worked in the storefront, and was the public face of the bakery. The bakery was well known for their delicious crusty wheat bread.

Recognisable and full of character, he plays a key role in our philosophy of community engagement as he cycles through neighbourhoods and festivals.
From the starting point of traditional brioche, which remains a beloved bakery classic enjoyed in many cultures, Mr Zito has taken the concept of brioche to a level and a format not seen or tasted before! From our gastro bike we showcase the versatility and enduring appeal of this simple yet delicious bread with sweet and savoury options all served in a sandwich style.

Our Plans
The Future of Mr Zito's
Mr Zito is just getting started! Our initial bike is ready to hit the roads and cover events catering in London, and we have ambitious plans for the future. By 2025, we aim to have 3-4 bikes roaming the streets, bringing our delightful sweet and savoury filled brioches to street food markets, food halls, and exciting festivals.
